President, Academic Board
Professor Ron Slocombe
The Council of the University relies upon the Academic Board for advice and recommendation on academic (related) matters. The current President is Professor Ron Slocombe from the Faculty of Veterinary Science.
Professor Slocombe joined the Faculty of Veterinary Science as a Senior Lecturer in Pathology in 1986. He had previously been employed as an Associate Professor in Pathology at Michigan State University, USA, subsequent to completing his Food Animal Residency, an MS in Medicine and a PhD in Pathology. He is currently the Chair of Veterinary Pathology.
